Students At Balige Waving Hands On The Roadside, Handing Out Books Asking For Vice President Ma'ruf Amin's Signature

SIMALUNGUN - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin took the time to chat and give autographs to a number of students in Balige, Toba Regency, while traveling to Silangit International Airport in North Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra. Handayani paused for a moment in front of SMK Negeri 1 Balige, where school children in the local area were lined up on the side of the road to welcome Vice President Ma'ruf. A number of children wanted to ask for the signature of Vice President Ma'ruf by handing their notebooks to Ma'ruf Amin. The Pampri Group B commander for Pasampres, Captain Pas Aditya, swiftly bowed so that the Vice President could have a platform to sign.

The vice president asked some of the students about their learning process in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The vice president wanted to know the experience of children experiencing limited face-to-face learning (PTM). "What class are these (children)? Middle school class? Now face-to-face? he asked. Four children answered that their dream was to become an artist, a member of the Indonesian Army Women's Corps (Kowad), a member of the National Police, and a cardiologist. I hope they achieve their goals," he said. The vice president advised the children to continue to study hard and maintain health protocols in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. "Hopefully everyone is healthy and don't forget the health protocols," said the vice president.
