Accompanied By North Sumatra Governor Edy, Vice President Ma'ruf Amin Enjoys Local Coffee In Simalungun

MEDAN - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin spent the night around Lake Toba enjoying coffee at the local BKaro coffee shop, in Tiga Raja Village, Girsang Sipangan Bolon District, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra.

The vice president visited the coffee shop accompanied by the Governor of North Sumatra (Gubsu) Edy Rahmayadi, the Regent of Simalungun Radiapoh Hasiholan Sinaga, and limited personnel.

The vice president chats with the owner of the Ginting coffee shop. In the small talk, the Vice President said that he used to be a coffee lover and last drank coffee in 1993.

"My last coffee was in 1993. At first, when I had coffee it was a big mug. Just all kinds of coffee (I drank), yes, arabica, robusta," said the vice president in Simalungun, quoted by Antara, Thursday, December 9.

The vice president said the reason for stopping was because he felt uncomfortable enjoying too much coffee.

"(The reason) Yes, because it's starting to feel uncomfortable, starting to get old. So I used to drink coffee a day can be more than one big mug," he said.

After drinking coffee, the Vice President then left Bkaro to go to Niagara Hotel to rest.

Before entering the car, the Vice President greeted the surrounding community and conveyed a message that residents should maintain their health and keep their spirits up.

The vice president made a working visit to Lake Toba, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra, Thursday and Friday, December 10. On Friday, the Vice President is scheduled to inaugurate the opening of the Indonesian Spices Business Forum and Expo 2021 at the Niagara Hotel.
