Arsenal Do Everything Possible For Depak Ozil
JAKARTA - Midfielder of Turkish descent, Mesut Ozil is no longer wanted by Arsenal. To get rid of the former Real Madrid player, the Gunners are ready to do everything they can, including paying for the rest of the player's contract.
Ozil is not included in coach Mikel Arteta's scheme of play. In addition, the former German national team player is also a player with a high salary, namely 350 thousand pounds per week or (Rp. 6.7 billion).
Ozil's high salary, if used in team development next season, will certainly be more useful, than having to pay blind wages to players whose presence is unwanted.
The situation heated up when he refused to cut his salary. Ozil argued that Arsenal's directors could not provide an answer to what he questioned.
"As players, we all want to contribute. But we need more information and a lot of unanswered questions," Ozil said as quoted by Antara, Friday.
"For anyone in this situation, you have the right to know everything, to understand why it happened and where the money is going. But we are not getting enough details," he added.
He also stressed that he would not leave Arsenal and would stay until his contract expires in June 2021.

The 31-year-old stressed that he will decide when to leave Arsenal and will continue to fight for his main place until he is no longer under contract.
"I will decide when I leave, not someone else. I did not sign for two or three years, I signed for four years and it must be respected by everyone," he said.
