USK Chancellor Asks Police To Investigate Fake Doctor's Fake Doctors PSS Sleman
BANDA ACEH - The Chancellor of Syiah Kuala University (USK) Banda Aceh, Prof. Samsul Rizal, asked the police to investigate the network of fake doctor certificate makers at PSS Sleman Elwizan Aminuddin who had been reported to the police.
"We strongly support legal efforts to trace who made the diploma, so that it is exposed," said Prof. Samsul Rizal in Banda Aceh, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, December 7.
Previously, the management of PT PSS Sleman had officially reported Elwizan Aminuddin to the police because he was suspected of being a fake doctor.
In its report, PSS Sleman brought complete internal documents in the form of a work contract from the person concerned. Then, the certificate verification file No: 5752/UN11/WA.01.00/2021 from Syiah Kuala University Banda Aceh stated that the diploma was fake.
Prof. Samsul emphasized that Elwizan Aminuddin was never registered at the USK Banda Aceh Faculty of Medicine (FK), and also never issued a diploma in his name.
"There is data collection, the person concerned has never been recorded, Unsyiah has never issued a diploma in the name of Elwizan Aminuddin. It can be checked at PD DIKTI," he said.
According to the Chancellor, a thorough investigation to uncover who made the fake diplomas needs to be carried out to provide a deterrent effect, so that no one carelessly makes diplomas anymore.
"There must be a deterrent effect, not only for those concerned who buy them, but those who make diplomas or their networks must be thoroughly investigated," he said.
Samsul also reminded job recipients to be able to check the validity of the prospective worker's diploma through PD DIKTI or the USK homepage.
"Those with digital diplomas can check the QR code directly. If there is anything suspicious, ask the USK immediately," said Samsul.
