Gathering To PBNU, Army Chief Of Staff General Dudung Hope Ulama-Ulama Make Indonesia Stronger
JAKARTA - Army Chief of Staff (KSAD), General Dudung Abdurachman, visited the office of the Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board (PBNU) on Kramat Raya Street, Central Jakarta, Monday, December 6.
The visit was in the context of friendship to strengthen the Ulama-Umara relationship.
During the gathering, General Dudung was received directly by the General Chairman of PBNU, K.H Said Aqil Siradj.
Accompanied by PBNU Chairs Marsudi Suhud and Robikin Emhas, PBNU Secretary-General Helmy Faishal Zaini, PBNU Deputy Secretary Generals, Andi Najmi Fuadi, Sultonul Huda, and Ulil Abshar Hadrawi.
Army General Dudung Abdurachman said the visit to PBNU was part of a series of gathering activities with religious organizations in the country.
"This activity is carried out to establish communication with religious leaders", said General Dudung.
Dudung hopes that by strengthening the friendship between Ulama and Umara, the Republic of Indonesia will be stronger and stronger.
"I hope that the Army will always get blessings and inner and outer strength to maintain the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia", concluded General Dudung.
