Police Says A Man Died On A Cliff Of Penapen Waterfall Is Pure Accident, Not Persecuted
JAKARTA - Jeruklegi Police, Cilacap Resort Police, Central Java evacuated the victim who died from falling from the cliff of Penapen Waterfall, Jeruklegi, Cilacap. The victim with the initials D (32), is registered as a resident of Jembangan Village, Pungelan District.
Based on the information received by VOI, Monday 6 December, the witness said the incident occurred on Sunday 5 December, around 09.30 western Indonesia time. At that time the victim and 3 of his friends were looking for a sarut type tree on the cliffs of Penapen Waterfall in the forest area of Mandala Village.
The victim and his colleagues had time to rest around the waterfall. However, about 10 minutes later the victim and one witness climbed the cliff or slope of the Penapen waterfall, and suddenly the witness saw the victim slip and then fall from the cliff with a height of 7 meters.

Furthermore, three witnesses helped the victim in a condition covered in blood and wounds on the forehead. Due to the location in the middle of the forest and far from residential areas, the witness sought help from local residents to evacuate the victims. The evacuation process uses a stretcher and takes approximately 1 hour to reach people's homes.
Kanit Sabhara with three members headed to Mandala Village to take the victim to the Fatimah Hospital in Cilacap. At around 14:10 western Indonesia time, the victim was declared dead at the Fatimah Hospital. From the results of the doctor's examination, the victim suffered a torn wound in the forehead and bleeding, as well as a broken neck bone caused by falling from a 7-meter high cliff. There was a bruise on the right side of the abdomen and there were no signs of abuse.
