Ministry Of Health: Some Of Semeru Hot Cloud Victims Experience Burns
JAKARTA - Head of the Health Crisis Center of the Ministry of Health, Eka Jusuf Singka, said that some of the victims of the hot cloud fall from Mount Semeru in Candipuro District, Lumajang Regency, East Java, suffered burns.
"It was observed that some of the victims from the field were burnt," said Eka Jusuf Sinka when delivering a press statement quoted by Antara, Saturday, December 4.
Eka has instructed the Puskesmas in the vicinity of the disaster site to prepare all health services caused by the Mount Semeru disaster.
The Ministry of Health's Health Crisis Center (Puskris) team from Surabaya and DKI Jakarta, said Eka, was being deployed to provide treatment assistance to victims in Lumajang.
"Some are already in Surabaya to coordinate with the Crisis Central Office and the East Java Health Service, they have brought the logistics to Lumajang from Surabaya and from Jakarta," he said.

The Puskris team together with BNPB departed to the scene at 21.00 WIB by land to deliver logistical assistance in the form of a 6x12 meter tent, cloth masks, medical masks, N95 masks, hand sanitizers.
"We brought medical supplies such as N95 masks, gloves, burn ointment, immediately mobilized today and tonight to the location," he said.
All the assistance was delivered by the Puskris Team to strengthen health services at the Puskesmas.
"We have also brought tents to carry out emergency health services in the field and strengthen health services in refugee camps," he said.
