The 2021 Thomas Cup Winner Bonus Will Be Disbursed Soon, Menpora: Will Be Submitted To The Federation
JAKARTA - The Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Zainudin Amali confirmed the bonus for the Indonesian team that won the 2021 Thomas Cup.
The Minister of Youth and Sports said that the bonus will be given directly to the federation, in this case PBSI. The Minister of Youth and Sports explained that bonuses were not given to individuals.
"So we decided that the Indonesian national team after successfully brought the Thomas Cup, we will give a bonus. But we will give it to the federation because this is the team's success," said Zainudin Amali in a virtual meeting, Saturday, December 4.
Amali explained the reason his party chose to give bonuses to the federation instead of the athletes directly. According to the Minister of Youth and Sports, this is because PBSI will be more proficient in terms of division because when they appeared in the 2021 Thomas Cup, Indonesia was present as a team, not individuals.
"The bonus will be conveyed to the federation, not individually, so that PBSI will manage it up to the coach and all," said the Minister of Youth and Sports.
Talking about bonuses, of course, it will be related to the nominal, but on this occasion the Minister of Youth and Sports is reluctant to mention the nominal amount that will be disbursed to the Indonesian Thomas Cup team.

"So there is a bonus, when we will provide further information. We will announce the amount at the time of delivery," he continued.
