Chaotic! Handling PSS Players To The National Team, Elwizan Aminudin Turns Out To Be A Fake Doctor
JAKARTA - The excitement has re-emerged from national football. This time it was related to PSS Sleman doctor, Elwizan Aminudin, who turned out to be a fake doctor. The news has been confirmed by PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) as the operator of the League 1 competition.
"We have communicated with the LIB COVID-19 task force. From the search results, the diploma in question (Elwizab Aminudin) is not registered," said the President Director of PT. LIB Akhmad Hadian Lukita in a written statement received by VOI, Thursday 2 December.
The news regarding the fake doctor who treats PSS Sleman stems from the tweet of a doctor, Iqbal Amin on Twitter. He said that Elwizan Aminudin was a fake doctor because he was not registered.
"Another Fraudster, this time the victim is @PSSleman, it is said that he became a National Team Doctor. For agencies that want to recruit doctors, next time check and check on the Check doctor site at @kkigoid http://kki.go.id," tweeted the doctor with account @iqbalamine89.
Lukita said that he had confirmed this to the PSSI team of doctors. PSSI has also imposed sanctions and it is also confirmed that Elwizan is no longer at PSS.
LIB emphasized that this incident will be used as a lesson. In order not to repeat it in the future, LIB will check the recruitment system for club elements more thoroughly and carefully.
"When it comes to the process (verification) it's in the club. All verification about the team doctor is at the club, not at PT LIB. Yes, this is a lesson for us. We will make this a moment to improve," said Lukita.
Before being identified as an unregistered doctor and treating PSS Sleman, Elwizan also managed several clubs such as Barito Putera, Bali United, Sriwijaya FC Kalteng Putra, Tira Persikabo and even the Indonesian national team.
