Muhaimin Iskandar Affirms There Has Been No Exploration Of The 2024 Presidential Election
JAKARTA - The general chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Muhaimin Iskandar emphasized that there has been no exploration for the 2024 presidential election (Pilpres).
"Until today, there has been no assessment and no discussion," said Muhaimin after opening the National Guard activities in Jakarta, Wednesday, December 1.
Muhaimin said the PKB had not yet decided whether to join a particular political party. Although said the deputy chairman of the DPR, it is impossible to carry out a pair of candidates alone, but must form a coalition.
Regarding the coalition axis of Islamic parties, Muhaimin emphasized that there has not been a single meeting of political parties discussing the nomination of a presidential candidate.
Muhaimin emphasized that in the history of Indonesian politics, PKB has been successful in the presidential election competition in recent times.
"PKB is proven to be able to fill the vice president position and can win Jokowi and Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono," explained Muhaimin.

Muhaimin explained that currently, the competition for political parties ahead of the 2024 general election has begun.
"The field for 2024 is very wide open for anyone, because there is no incumbent. Whoever he is, has the same opportunity both in the legislature and in the executive," said Muhaimin asserted.
The National Coordination Council (DKN) of Garda Bangsa supports the General Chair of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Muhaimin Iskandar to run as a presidential candidate in the 2024 General Election.
"We support one thousand percent to run for president," said the chairman of the DKN Garda Bangsa, Tommy Kurniawan.
