COVID-19 Update As Of December 1st: 278 New Cases Increase, Most In DKI 70 Cases
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 199,375 specimens were examined today. As a result, there were 278 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 4,256,687 people and 7,883 active cases", said Ministry of Health data, Wednesday, December 1.
Today's recovered cases increased by 307 cases, bringing the total to 4,104,964 people recovered. Then, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 10 people and a total of 143,840 people.
The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 70 cases and a total of 864,017 cases. Followed by West Java which has 58 new cases with a total of 692,082 cases. East Java has 30 new cases and a total of 399,443 cases. Then, Central Java has 20 new cases and a total of 486,405 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to West Java with an additional 75 recovered cases. Followed by DKI Jakarta with an increase of 49 recovered cases, East Nusa Tenggara with an increase of 33 recovered cases, and East Java with 27 recovered cases.
6 provinces reported no new cases today, namely Aceh, Jambi, North Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, Gorontalo, and North Maluku.

"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 0.20 percent", he wrote.
The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases was recorded at 5,299 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
Furthermore, currently, 140,205,046 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 96,519,346 of the second dose of vaccination. Then, the third dose of vaccination was 1,222,471 Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia was 208,265,720 people.
