Had Lost Contact, KM Subur Indah Was Found In Pancang Waters
TARAKAN - The joint Search and Rescue (SAR) team managed to find the Subur Indah Motorboat (KM) which had lost contact in Pancang Putih waters near Ambalat, North Kalimantan.
"The Joint Search and Rescue Team managed to find the KM Subur Indah ship in Pancang Putih waters near Ambalat, today at around 09.10 WITA," said Head of the Tarakan Search and Rescue (Kansar) Office, Amiruddin in Tarakan, North Kalimantan, Wednesday, December 1.
The location was found at KM Subur Indah, precisely around 25.98 NM Heading 113.90° from Tunon Taka port, Nunukan with coordinates 3°58'7.98"N118° 3'55.62"E.
"One skipper and four crew members (ABK) KM Subur Indah are safe and healthy," said Amiruddin. KM Subur Indah suffered engine damage on the "hast propeller" section so the ship turned off the engine and swayed.
Then KM Subur Indah again continued the journey to the Nyamuk River, Sebatik by being pulled by a ship provided by the ship owner and accompanied by the Seta SAR Ship to ensure the ship arrived at the Sebatik Mosquito River safely.
