Pancasila Youth Admits Dozens Of Suspects During The Junimart Demo Are Members

JAKARTA - The Pancasila Youth Community Organization (PP) finally admitted that 16 people who had been named suspects were members. They were involved in cases of assault against the police and possession of sharp weapons.

"I convey that the 16 people who were detained and made suspects are all true Pancasila Youth cadres," said the head of the Pancasila Youth Counseling and Legal Defending Agency (BPPH) Razman Arif Nasution to reporters, Monday, November 29.

Currently, continued Razman, the dozens of PP members are being held at the Directorate General of Criminal Investigation of the Polda Metro Jaya. However, in a different Sub Directorate (Subdit).

"In various detention sub-directories there are those who are being held at tahti, resmob and others, but everything is fine," said Razman.

When asked about the PP's follow-up regarding its members who were involved in a crime, Razman said that he would look into the existing legal process.

In fact, it is possible that they will be expelled from the PP. But that will only be done if they can no longer be nurtured.

"Yes, if it can still be fostered, we will foster it, if you don't want it, it's not destroyed, just get out of PP," said Razman.
