JAKARTA - Floods have submerged four sub-districts in Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency, South Kalimantan Province, since the afternoon of Saturday, November 27. Floods are triggered by heavy rains.
The four sub-districts include Brabai, Haruyan, Hantakan and Batang Alai sub-districts. While in Brabai District, four villages were hit by floods, namely North Barabai, South, West, and Mendingan Villages.

"One of the emergency handling of the post is to collect data on material losses in flood-affected areas," said Abdul Muhari.
In addition, he continued, joint officers are on standby to anticipate further flooding that may still occur in this area.
"The local BPBD also reported that residents who had evacuated had returned to their respective homes," he said.
