Aceh Still Has A Stock Of 110 Thousand Doses Of Vaccine Spread Throughout The Region

ACEH - The Aceh Health Service stated that Aceh Province still has around 110,000 doses of Sinovac, Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines spread throughout the region to achieve the 70 percent vaccination target by the end of 2021.

"In districts/cities there are still total stocks of Sinovac, Pfizer, and Moderna vaccines of around 110 thousand doses, which are spread over 23 districts/cities in Aceh," said Head of Disease Prevention and Control (P2P) Aceh Health Service Iman Cheapman in Banda Aceh. , reported by Antara, Wednesday, November 24.

However, there is not much stock of the vaccine in the midst of Aceh aggressively accelerating vaccinations to reach 70 percent by the end of 2021, in accordance with the target given by the central government for the Tanah Rencong area.

Moreover, said Iman, the stock of vaccines at the Aceh Province level is also very low, only about 3 thousand doses of the Sinovac type are in the warehouse of the Aceh Health Service.

"Insha Allah, in the near future, the Sinovac vaccine will enter the province with around 38 thousand doses. There is no stock for Pfizer and Moderna vaccines for the provinces," said Iman.

Data from the Committee for Handling COVID-19 and National Economic Recovery (KPC PEN) Aceh, the vaccination target for Aceh is 4,028,891 people.

From that target, the first dose of vaccination has reached 1,492,919 people or 37.1 percent, while those who have completed the second dose of vaccination are 807,152 people or 20 percent.

Currently, said Iman, the Aceh government continues to accelerate the injection of vaccines in districts/cities, by going directly to villages. In one sub-district, three central points of vaccination can be reached every day.

The acceleration of vaccination was mainly carried out for areas with large vaccination targets, such as Pidie District, North Aceh, Bireuen, East Aceh and several other areas.

"Because this area every dose of vaccine that we send out immediately. So hopefully we will continue to optimize the distribution of vaccines and also continue to run smoothly from the central government," he said.
