Positive COVID-19, Mayor Of Banjarbaru South Kalimantan Passes Away
JAKARTA - Mayor of Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan, Nadjmi Adhani, passed away on Monday, August 10. Nadjmi died as a result of being infected with COVID-19.
Head of the Public Relations and Protocol Section of the Banjarbaru Secretariat Dedi Sutoyo said the mayor took his last breath at around 02.30 WITA.
"He died at 02.30 WITA while undergoing treatment at the Ulin Banjarmasin General Hospital. Currently his body is still in the hospital," said Dedi.
Nadjmi Adhani has undergone treatment for approximately two weeks in the hospital, after testing positive for Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in July 2020.
Then, on Sunday (9/8) afternoon, the health condition of the number one person in the ranks of the Banjarbaru City Government decreased due to low blood oxygen levels, before being pronounced dead on Monday morning.
