Floods Hit Medan After Heavy Rain, Bobby Nasution: Sorry To All Residents

JAKARTA - The Mayor of Medan, Bobby Nasution, sent an official apology to all residents in the North Sumatran capital for not being able to free themselves from the flood problem.

In the last few days, Medan has routinely rained. The intensity is quite heavy.

As a result, ditches and rivers overflowed, causing roads in Medan to be flooded.

In fact, apart from fixing damaged roads, flooding is one of the problems that Bobby Nasution sold when he won the last Medan City Election.

"I apologize to all Medan residents for the flood problems that occurred in several areas in the city of Medan", Bobby said on his official Instagram account, Wednesday, November 24.

But Bobby promised Pemko not to be silent. He has asked to fix all clogged drainage so that the puddles can be quickly resolved.

"We are also preparing various long-term flood management plans so that Medan is completely free from flooding", continued President Jokowi's son-in-law.

"Let's collaborate to overcome this problem together. Great support from residents is needed in carrying out programs to anticipate and overcome flood problems in the city of Medan", he said.
