Dozens Of Nightlife Places In Kemang Bogor Again Demolished By Civil Service Police

JAKARTA - Dozens of buildings that were used as entertainment venues in Kemang District, Bogor Regency, were demolished by Civil Service Police (Satpol PP), accompanied by the National Police and National Armed Forces (TNI). Although there had been an argument with a number of managers, the demolition action continued.

The joint apparatus lowered the heavy equipment, one unit of beko, to level the semi-permanent building. The beko operator immediately tore down the building that was used as a nightclub for local people and passers-by.

A number of items, such as tables, chairs, and sound systems, have been evacuated first by the management of the entertainment venues. It's been seen a number of managers feel disapproved of the demolition.

"We have put in order the buildings that are used as night entertainment venues. Actually, we demolished this a month ago but it was rebuilt, there are dozens of buildings," explained Head of the Bogor Regency Civil Service police (PP), Agus Ridho, to reporters, Tuesday, November 23.

Agus explained that these buildings were erected without permission and were often used as nightclubs. So, many complaints from the public who are restless about the existence of the place.

"The most important thing is that the Bogor Regent has instructed Bogor Regency to be more civilized, one of which is the Nobat or Nongol Tripe program. We will continue to do routines like this throughout the Bogor Regency area," he concluded.
