Task Force: Capacity Of Places Of Worship In Red Zones Restricted By 25 Percent
JAKARTA - Spokesperson for the COVID-19 Task Force, Wiku Adisasmito, said that the capacity of places of worship in the COVID-19 red zone outside Java-Bali is limited to a maximum of 25 percent.
"Places of worship located in the green and yellow zones can operate with a maximum capacity of 75 percent and the orange zone can operate with a maximum capacity of 50 percent," said Wiku Adisasmito at a press conference on the Development of COVID-19 Handling, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, November 23.
Wiku said the provisions were contained in the adjustment to the Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) contained in the latest Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs (Inmendagri) Number 61 of 2021.
The Minister of Home Affairs, said Wiku, will take effect from November 23 to December 6 2021 outside Java and Bali.
The latest PPKM zoning details can be accessed by the public on the official public "dashboard" of the COVID-19 Task Force on the covid-19.co.id page in the distribution section of the risk map.

In addition, said Wiku, local governments can check the adjustments of various other sectors in accordance with Inmendagri Number 61 of 2021.
"Local governments are obliged to immediately disseminate information to the community. It is important to remember that the adjustments made by the government are an effort to adapt to the current conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic," he said.
