Therefore, the chairman of the DPR asked the government to seriously address the issue of contract marriage, because preventing cases of violence against women requires a joint commitment from various ministries and related agencies. Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (PPA) must cooperate with the Ministry of Religion, regional governments, together with friends from the Police and other relevant agencies to socialize the potential for violence through contract marriage practices," he said.
