Losses Due To Burning Two Rabbit Pati Factory Reaches IDR 2 Billion

PATI - The value of the loss due to the fire that hit the Dua Kelinci Factory, Pati Regency, Central Java, is estimated at IDR 2 billion, although the total number of buildings that were burned out of the entire factory building was around 100 percent.

"Temporary data, the value of losses due to the fire that occurred Tuesday, November 23 at 11.13 WIB was around IDR 2 billion. Meanwhile, the death toll was nil", said Pati Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner, Christian Tobing, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, November 23.

He revealed about 20 percent of the offices were burned down. The fire was successfully extinguished by a joint firefighting team, starting from the Fire, Police, TNI (Army), BPBD (Regional Disaster Management Agency), Civil Service Police Unit, and several private companies both in Pati and from Kudus at 13.15 WIB.

The fire trucks that were deployed to extinguish the fire reached 20 units. While the fire may still be in the oven, it is admitted that it is closed so that the officers cannot, but the officers have guarded it to ensure that the fire does not spread to other places.

The Pati Police are also still investigating the cause of the fire that occurred at the Dua Kelinci Factory which produces crunchy peanuts on Jalan Pati-Kudus in Sumberejo Village, Margorejo District, Pati.

"Currently, we are still investigating to uncover the cause of the fire which caused the warehouse and office to catch fire", he said.

Later, he said, a crime scene (TKP) will be processed in collaboration with the Forensic Laboratory Team.
