He explained that the disclosure of the children's whereabouts originated from public information regarding indications of online prostitution in a hotel.

"Once we received the information, together with the West Kalimantan KPPAD, we carried out a raid on one of the hotels on Setiabudi Street", he said.

From the raid, six people were arrested, namely four men and two women. Of the six arrested, five of them are still minors.

"Of the six people, we also secured one adult male", he said.

He added that in handling the case, his party together with the West Kalimantan KPPAD will coordinate with the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA) and the Integrated Child Service Center (PLAT) of the Pontianak City Social Service.

"To ensure whether the child is being rehabilitated before being returned to their parents. Meanwhile, the adult male will be further examined", he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the West Kalimantan KPPAD, Eka Nurhayati Ishak, said that from the confessions obtained, some of those who were detained had stayed for three nights at the hotel.

"We hope that parents will increase their supervision of their children so that they are not wrong in socializing and are not trapped in activities that are prohibited by law and religious norms", she said.

She added that way the children can be known when they finish school, whether they go straight home or go outside so that their interactions are still controlled.

"For this case, we still leave the handling to the police, but we still provide assistance to those whose status is still a child", he said.
