Arashi's Journey Covered In ARASHI's Diary -Voyage-
JAKARTA - The famous Japanese boy group, Arashi will release a documentary that tells the story of their music career for 20 years. Titled ARASHI's Diary -Voyage-, this documentary will be broadcast exclusively through streaming service Netflix.
Through the trailer that aired last week, Arashi again said about the plan to stop their activities on December 31, 2020. So, this documentary is a form of gratitude as well as a gift to fans who have supported them all this time.
ARASHI's Diary -Voyage- will air starting December 31, 2019. With 20 episodes, this documentary will present new episodes every month.
This documentary series showcases Arashi's journey to fame and their ability to maintain conceptual quality, as well as some behind-the-scenes footage that has never been shown to the public. The documentary will also contain answers to their hiatus next year and the members' opinions regarding this decision.
Will be available in more than 28 languages in 190 countries, ARASHI's Diary -Voyage- can be an introduction forum for those who have never known Arashi, or Matsumoto Jun, one of Arashi's personnel.
As the best Japanese boy group to date, Arashi's popularity cannot be underestimated. As of now, they have sold more than 14 million albums throughout their career.
Arashi was also named the highest selling artist on the Oricon album for this year. With a total sales value of 20 billion yen, Arashi is the first group to achieve this much. They are also rumored to be collaborating with One Piece for the song Reborn which will air on January 4, 2020.
Previously, Arashi did a Jet Storm tour by visiting four cities in the Asian continent, namely Jakarta, Singapore, Taipei and Bangkok for two days.
Prior to the vacuum, Arashi also activated five social media and released their songs digitally for the first time. This is a gift for fans to enjoy Arashi's work even though it will be on hiatus until an undetermined time.
