A number of provinces have announced the 2022 UMP. The Central Java Provincial Government has set the 2022 provincial minimum wage (UMP) at Rp1,812,935, an increase of 0.78 percent from the previous year.
The determination of the UMP is contained in the Decree of the Governor of Central Java Number 561/37 concerning the Determination of the Minimum Wage for Central Java Province in 2022.
The determination of the UMP includes mandatory rules for companies to develop a structure and scale of wages for workers with more than one year of service.
"The UMP as referred to in the first dictum applies to workers with a working period of less than one year," said Ganjar in a written statement quoted by Antara, Sunday, November 21.
Meanwhile, the Bali UMP in 2021 is Rp2,494,000 and in 2020 it will be Rp2,516,971. The increase in the UMP is based on the decision of the Governor of Bali Number 779/03-M/HK/2021 dated 18 November 2021 concerning the Provincial Minimum Wage.
The rate of Rp22,971, continued Arda, had been agreed upon by workers and employers. Everyone agreed no one refused. According to him, the 2022 UMP is better than 2021, where there is no increase.
