JAKARTA - Verawaty Fajrin passed away on Sunday, November 21 at the Dharmais Hospital in Jakarta. The body of the Indonesian badminton legend was buried at the Tanah Kusir TPU on the same day. Drs. Andi Alfian Mallarangeng, M.Sc., Ph.D. as a former Minister of Youth and Sports in the United Indonesia Cabinet II, also gave his attention and respect to the deceased. According to Andi, the deceased was an Indonesian sports hero who had contributed to the nation and state.
