YOGYAKARTA - Instagram is currently testing its newest feature, namely the React feature that allows users to give Likes in the Stories column.
With the React feature, Instagram users can give a Like symbol or like and heart to Stories posts made by accounts you follow.
Instagram itself says the React feature is still in the testing phase or has not been officially released. If it gets a positive response from its users, it is not impossible that a feature that allows users to give Likes on Instagram Stories will be inaugurated in the near future.
To use the React feature, users can open an Instagram Stories post from one of the accounts they follow, then give a Like icon, or a heart symbol.
Next, the creator or the person who uploaded the Stories, will get a notification from Instagram that you (username) liked your story, or liked the story you shared.
After that, if the creator presses the incoming notification, they will be taken to the created Stories window. Next, Instagram will tell you the number of reactions it gave and how many people saw the post.

How to Give Likes on Instagram Stories Posts
To use the Like feature on Instagram Stories posts of accounts that you follow, users can first update the Instagram application on your device.
The trick is to visit the Google Play Store or Apps Store, then search for the Instagram app and click the "Update" icon.
Once the update is complete, open your Instagram app and log in using the account you have. Select one of the Instagram Stories posts created by the account you follow.

When viewing the Stories post, a like icon will appear in the form of a thumb and heart image. Users can select one of these icons to React the post you see if you like it.
