2021, Natural Gas Flow In Pasuruan And Probolinggo Increases By 23,570 SR
PASURUAN - PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) has again carried out Initial Gas Delivery (gas-in) in the Pasuruan and Probolinggo areas with a total of 23,570 house connections (SR).
PGN Area Head Pasuruan Heri Frastiono explained, in Pasuruan City natural gas is distributed through seven regulator stations to 10 sub-districts and three sub-districts. The 10 villages are Tembokrejo, Sekargadung, Purutrejo, Wirogunan, Bakalan, Bugul Kidul, Krampyangan, Petamanan, Kandangsapi and Pekuncen.
Meanwhile, the three sub-districts are Purworejo, Bugul Kidul and Panggungrejo with a total of 7,003 SR. Meanwhile, in Pasuruan Regency, natural gas flows through 8 Regulator Stations to 5 Kelurahan in 2 Subdistricts, namely Purwosari and Sukorejo with a total of 5,750 SR.
"In Probolinggo City, natural gas has been distributed through 5 Regulator Stations to 4 Kelurahan (Pilang, Ketapang, Triwung Lor and Triwung Kidul). In Kademangan Subdistrict with a total of 5,080 SR. Meanwhile, Probolinggo Regency flows natural gas through 7 Regulator Stations to 6 Kelurahan, namely Tongas Kulon, Bulk Tulis, Tanjung Rejo, Tambakrejo, Customs, Kedungdalem and Kalirejo. Then in the Districts, Tongas and Dringu, with a total of 5,737 SRs," said Heri Friday, November 19.
Heri explained that the implementation of natural gas distribution to households was carried out in stages and took into account the readiness of infrastructure. So that the first gas-in implementation in Pasuruan City will be held on 27 August 2021, Pasuruan Regency on 29 October 2021, Probolinggo City on 08 November 2021 and Probolinggo Regency on 28 September 2021.
"Natural gas that has already flowed to the community with gas pipelines installed and stoves can be used for daily needs," said Heri. Heri said that this initial gas distribution supports the government's program in the energy mix program. The availability of gas is a form of availability of choice of energy sources, so it is expected to improve the quality of life of the people of Pasuruan and Probolinggo.
He said, jargas have more value, including safety with patrol services for maintaining gas networks, clean and stock that is always available at all times.
"PGN Pasuruan Area is part of PGN Sales & Operation Region III (SOR III) which includes Central Java, East Java, Sulawesi and West Papua, with a total pipeline length of 1,246 km," explained Heri.
According to him, in all SOR III, the number of household customers (city gas) is 98,568 Home Connections (SR) with a volume of 1.54 BBTUD, Commercial and Industrial Customers 566 customers (123.82 BBTUD), and 2 Corporate Customers (17.26 BBTUD).
To customers, Heri informed that monthly bill payments can be made through several channels such as Bank BRI, BNI, BTN and Bank Mandiri, as well as Alfamart, Alfamidi, POS Indonesia, Pawnshops and the nearest PPOB counter as well as electricity and water payments. In addition, it is also available in marketplaces and payment applications such as Tokopedia, Linkaja, and Go Bill (Go-jek).
“The payment period is opened every 6th to 20th of every month. If there is a delay, then in accordance with the provisions, the customer will be required to provide a Payment Guarantee," said Heri.
