Still Being Discussed, Anies Baswedan Has Not Set The 2022 DKI Jakarta of Provincial Minimum Wage
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan has not set the Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) in the Capital City for 2022 because it is still under discussion by related parties.
"Not yet, we'll see", said Anies after attending the dissemination of research results and training on resilience in disaster mitigation schools at the DKI Jakarta Education Office, as reported by Antara, Friday, November 19.
Regarding the issue of the 2022 UMP in DKI, he admitted that he did not know yet, because as of 16.00 WIB there was no official information on the determination to the public.
"I don't know, it hasn't been determined", said Anies.
The former Minister of Education and Culture has not yet been able to confirm that the determination of the 2022 DKI UMP will be announced on Friday, which was previously scheduled.
Previously, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government planned to announce the announcement of the 2022 Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) increase this Friday.
"God willing, we will implement the determination of the UMP on November 19, 2021", said Head of the Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency, Andri Yansyah, in Jakarta, last Tuesday.
The Ministry of Manpower has revealed that several provinces will receive the highest and lowest minimum wages in 2022.

The average minimum wage in the country next year will increase by 1.09 percent.
She revealed that based on statistical data on minimum wages in general, the lowest UMP is estimated to occur in Central Java at IDR 1,813,011.
The highest minimum wage is estimated to occur in DKI Jakarta at IDR 4,453,724 or an increase from 2021 at IDR 4,416,186.
Minister of Manpower, Ida Fauziah, on Tuesday, explained that governors in the country must set the Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) no later than November 21, 2021.
However, November 21, 2021, is a national holiday, so the determination must be made at least 1 day in advance, namely November 20, 2021.
