Irreplaceable, Dedication Of Micah Tambayong For Mother

JAKARTA - Mikha Tambayong released a song entitled Irreplaceable. This song is a special offering by Micah to his late mother, Deva Malaiholo, who died a year ago.

For Micah, Irreplaceable is a very personal and emotional song. Therefore, Micah deliberately released the song to coincide with his mother's birthday.

"I'm a bit insecure on August 6 because this is the birthday of my late mother. This is my tribute to my late mother, so how come it looks like it's right when I release it today," said Mikha, quoted from Antara, Friday, August 7.

Losing a very close person was not an easy thing for Micah. He admitted that it took up to a full year to get up and live the days as before.

Micah then talked with Ifa Fachir about wanting to make a song dedicated to his mother. The idea was embraced, Mikha wrote the lyrics with Deva Mahenra and music processing was done by Ifa.

"It took me a year to accept and just started to get used to life without my mother. When I was writing songs I was not expressive so I asked the team for help, I said what I felt until it became a piece of this song," said Mikha.

Even though this song is very personal to him, Micah believes that everyone has a different perspective about an irreplaceable figure in their life so that this song can be enjoyed by anyone and dedicated to someone they love.

"Me, personal for my mother, but anyone who listens can be related, so we don't need a specific person who is the same as me. I want anyone who hears to be carried away and can dedicate this song to whoever is irreplaceable," concluded Micah.
