One KKB Member In Intan Jaya Is Disabled, Dozens Of Ammunition Are Seized
JAKARTA - The police stated that they succeeded in incapacitating one member of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) and confiscated dozens of bullets from the prosecution around the Sugapa district, Intan Jaya.
"One member of the KKB who was targeted has died", said Head of Public Relations of the Papua Police, Kombes Ahmad Musthofa Kamal, in his statement, Wednesday, November 17.
This action began when there was information on the whereabouts of four KKB members around the Sugapa District, Intan Jaya Regency, Sunday, November 14. Thus, direct monitoring is carried out.
"After observations were made by the team, it was decided that action would be taken against the target. The team crawled towards the target position, while the other team carried out security at a height", said Kamal.

However, only one KKB member was successfully prosecuted in this action. While the rest managed to escape.
"The other three KKB members fled", said Kamal.
After the raid was completed, the joint TNI-Polri team combed around the location. As a result, dozens of rounds of ammunition were found.
"Found 23 rounds of 5.56 munitions, the Morning Star flag, cell phones, bracelets and noken (Papuan traditional bag) containing bamak", said Kamal.
Currently, the joint TNI-Police team is still carrying out patrols and guarding vital objects and around the city.
