MATARAM - TNI and Polri continue to carry out patrols in an effort to improve security, comfort, and public order in the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit area, Kuta Mandalika, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
Central Lombok Police Chief Grand Commissioner Adjutant Heri Indra Cahyono said the joint TNI-Polri patrol was carried out in accordance with the direction of the NTB Police Chief to maintain security and security conditions, especially in the Loteng area.
The appeal for health protocols and traffic regulation is one of the mandatory activities carried out to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and anticipate accidents in the circuit area.
In addition to the TNI and Polri, the patrol involved several other related elements such as Pol PP, the Transportation Service (Dishub), and the Health Office (Dinkes) from Central Lombok and the NTB provincial government.
"The purpose of this patrol has three things, namely a show of force to maintain security and order, prokes and traffic security issues. We will show the public that Loteng is ready to carry out and secure this international event," he said, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, November 16.
Since the issue of Kamtibmas is the responsibility of the TNI-Polri, similar patrols will continue to be carried out by the Loteng Police, even though the event is not currently being held.
"The attic is the host of this event. So we ask the community to be good hosts. Able to welcome guests who come in a friendly and polite manner. Because tourist visits have an impact on the economic recovery of our area," said Grand Commissioner Adjutant Heri Indra.
The NTB Regional Police and the Regional Police, especially in Central Lombok, formed 3 joint patrol groups with special specifications, namely the joint patrols of Kamseltibcarlantas consisting of Polantas, Sabhara, TNI and Dishub tasked with unraveling traffic jams in the lanes around the circuit location.
