It's Not About Cheating, The Ex-Kerispatih Storm Reveals The Original Meaning Of The Song 'I Must Be Honest'

JAKARTA - Kerispatih is a band known for their love songs complete with romantic lyrics. Some of the hits they released are still loved by Indonesian music listeners.

The song Aku Must Be Honest is one of Kerispatih's most hit songs. This song is the highlight of the album All About Love, Sammy Simorangkir's last album with the band.

Behind the sad lyrics, it turns out that there is a fact that not everyone knows. Badai, a former keyboard player for Kerispatih, revealed that this song is about the honesty of a husband to his wife when he is different.

Speaking to Abdel Achrian, Hurricane said, "So this song is actually a lot of people disappointed (wrong),"

Abdel also sang the second part of the chorus of the song Aku Must Be Honest which reads, "No one is possible.. Accept you like me"

“It's not 'You' but 'People'. Check it out," said Hurricane. Abdel was surprised by the meaning of one word which means that the first party of this song likes the same sex.

Badai admitted that he had never heard of such a story until he was finally inspired and composed the song Aku Must Be Honest. Netizens who heard Storm's statement also just found out about this fact.

"It's no wonder that when I grow up and hear I have to be honest, how come something is covered up? Thank you, Uncle Badai, for telling me," said a netizen.

“I still love Kerispatih's songs. Who do you want the lyrics for? As long as it's still good to hear. Yook is enthusiastic about working with Indonesian musicians," said another.
