Scotland Vs Denmark: Tartan Army Wins Play-off Tickets, Dynamite Team Finally Loses
JAKARTA - Scotland recorded a 2-0 win over Denmark in their World Cup Group F qualifier to secure home advantage and the play-offs. This result also makes Denmark suffer the only defeat also in qualifying.
Playing at packed Hampden Park, the Danes have already secured a place at next year's finals in Qatar by topping the group after winning nine in a row.
Citing Antara, this victory over Denmark made Scotland finish second and advance to the play-offs.
The hosts must win to ensure they are among the top six teams and have the advantage of appearing as hosts in the 12-team playoffs held in March 2022.
Denmark is missing many of the players that guided them to the semifinals of Euro 2020 in July, but goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel made a superb save to deny Che Adams.

Denmark then increased the tempo in the second half and locked the hosts but could not break into the Scottish goal.
As Denmark thrashed about pushing for an equaliser, Adams sealed Scotland's win with a brilliant goal past Schmeichel.
