COVID-19 Update As Of November 15: 221 New Cases From Examination Of 243,422 Specimens
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 243,422 specimens were examined with the result that there were 221 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 4,251,076 people and 8,522 active cases", said Ministry of Health data, Monday, November 15.
Today's recovered cases increased by 706 cases, bringing the total to 4,098,884 recovered people. Then, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 11 people and a total of 143,670 people.
The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 36 cases and a total of 862,825 cases.

Followed by West Java with 27 new cases with a total of 706,901 cases. Central Java has 27 new cases and a total of 485,856 cases. Then, East Java with 26 new cases and a total of 398,950 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to West Java with an additional 289 recovered cases. Followed by DKI Jakarta with an additional 76 recovered cases, Central Java with an additional 59 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 48 recovered cases.
There are 9 provinces that reported no new cases today, namely West Sumatra, Riau, Jambi, South Sumatra, Bengkulu, Gorontalo, West Sulawesi, Maluku and North Maluku. In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 50,382,458.
"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 0.24 percent", he wrote.
The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 3,845 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
To date, 130,616,514 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 84,552,446 people have received the second dose of vaccination. While the third dose of vaccination was 1,191,298. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
