Bali Police Arrest 5 Kilogram Marijuana Courier, Perpetrator Claims To Be Controlled By Kerobokan Prison Prisoners

DENPASAR - The Bali Police Team arrested a man named I Kadek Krisna Jaya (30) who was in possession of marijuana, methamphetamine and ecstasy narcotics in Mengwi, Badung Regency, Bali.

"The modus operandi is to have possession of and/or control cannabis-type narcotics which are stored in an iron rack or cabinet in his house for use," said Bali Police Narcotics Director Kombes Mochamad Khozin, Monday, November 15.

The arrests were made on Monday, November 1 at the perpetrator's house. After that the police conducted a search and found a package of marijuana. Ecstasy pills were also found.

"Furthermore, 31 packages were also found, each containing crystal clear crystal methamphetamine, which was found on the television rack as well as in the perpetrator's room," he added.

There was also an electric scale, a sales book, three empty plastic clips, all of which were found in the perpetrator's bedroom. The total weight of the marijuana found was 5,667.14 grams gross or 5,480.94 grams net.

"The perpetrator claimed to be controlled by a person who is usually called Selo (and) the position of the Kerobokan Prison to distribute narcotics in the form of marijuana, methamphetamine and ecstasy. Furthermore, the perpetrator and the evidence were taken to the Bali Police Narcotics Investigation Directorate for further investigation," said Kombes Khozin .
