Anies' Subordinates Say The Size Of MSMEs Is Included In The OK OCE Jakpreneur Program Only From The Number Of Registrants
JAKARTA - The achievement of the 200 thousand MSME entrepreneurship development program in the Jakpreneur program which is a substitute for OK OCE is debated.
DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan claimed that the achievement of the Jakpreneur program had exceeded the target. However, PDIP considers Anies' statement inappropriate because the number of MSMEs receiving capital facilities is still far from the target.
Head of the DKI Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPUKM) Agency, Elizabeth Ratu, explained that the achievement of the MSME target in the Jakpreneur program is only calculated on the number of registrants, although there are a number of stages that must be passed before getting access to capital.
"All we require is registration at the beginning, so that entrepreneurs can receive Jakpreneur's various facilitations," said Ratu when contacted, Monday, November 15.
Ratu explained, there are seven stages for MSMEs to take part in the Jakpreneur program. These stages start from registration, training, mentoring, licensing, marketing, financial reporting, and capital.
According to Ratu, the reason Anies said Jakpreneur's achievements had exceeded the target was because not all MSMEs needed capital. Importantly, they are already enrolled in the program.
"Indeed, we adjust it to the needs of Jakpreneurs. Not only capital, the biggest challenge for Jakpreneurs is one of them is also the marketing aspect. Along with the expansion of marketing, the need for business capital in the context of business development will increase," explained Ratu.
Moreover, he said, the biggest challenge faced during the pandemic is how to help Jakpreneur members to maintain their business.
"One aspect that we encourage is related to business digitization. In collaboration with various parties, we have made several adaptations in the digital era, for example by providing training, mentoring, and online marketing by utilizing available digital platforms," he said.
For information, Anies claimed that the achievement of Jakpreneur's entrepreneurship development program has now exceeded the target after four years of serving. "Alhamdulillah, the target was not only achieved, but even exceeded, namely there are 281,000 members," said Aniesnies at the Jakpreneur fest Appreciation Night at the Bank Mandiri Museum, Sunday, October 24.
However, the Chairman of the PDIP Faction of the DPRD, Gembong Warsono, assessed that the claims for the achievement of MSMEs that were picked up in the Jakpreneur or OK OCE program that actually got access to new capital were around 6 thousand MSMEs.
Based on the data that the DPRD received from the PPUMKM Service, there were only 6,159 MSMEs that had received capital as of 27 October 2021.
"When discussing the KUA-PPAS yesterday I asked the PPUMKM Office, now there are indeed 284 thousand who have registered, but only registered. Those who have reached access to capital are only 6,000," said Gembong.
