Elon Musk Sends Trigger To Senator Bernie Sanders' Tweet

JAKARTA – Recently, Elon Musk responded to a tweet from US senator Bernie Sanders on Twitter. Musk said he forgot that Bernie Sanders was still alive. Then added his comment about whether Bernie wanted Musk to sell more shares.

In the tweet, the 80-year-old Senator demanded that the rich pay their fair share. Sanders wrote, “We demand that the very rich pay their fair share. Point."

"I forgot you were alive", Musk commented.

Earlier, Musk sold his 10 percent stake in Tesla after polling on Twitter. The poll found that 50 percent of people agreed that Elon Musk was selling him.

The self-proclaimed Technoking of Tesla said his previous stock sale was a response to politicians and activists calling "unrealized gains" as "tax evasion". Musk intentionally increased his tax liability by selling Tesla shares.

Launching Russia Today, the net worth of the Tesla and SpaceX boss is estimated at 290 billion US dollars. Previously, he had a dispute with Sanders over tax matters. In March, Sanders sued Musk and Jeff Bezos to pay more and called the world's two richest men "immoral" for owning "more than 40 percent of the wealth of the bottom US".

“That level of greed and inequality is not only immoral. It can't go on", Sanders added.

With Elon Musk's fortune, he aims to make humans a "multi-planetary being" and "expand the light of consciousness to the stars." This is intended by Musk to avoid mass extinctions due to unexpected things such as pandemics and wars. Musk considers that it is not good to keep eggs in one basket, this also applies to humans.

"Space travel is an exciting idea, but right now we need to focus on Earth and create a progressive tax system so children don't go hungry, people don't go homeless and all Americans have health care", Sanders said, adding that " inequality” in the US as “obscene” and a “threat to democracy”.

Twitter users also praised Tesla boss Elon Musk's comments. Edward Snowden retweeted Musk's response and said Sanders had been "triggered". While best-selling author Scott Adams calls "this is why Tesla doesn't need marketing".
