Sido Muncul To Build A Herbal Medicine Museum And Research Center In Ungaran, Central Java, Irwan Hidayat: Groundbreaking 18 December
JAKARTA - PT Industri Jamu and Pharmacy Sido Muncul Tbk will soon realize the construction of the Jamu Museum Building and Research Center (research center) project in Ungaran. Director of Sido Muncul, Irwan Hidayat at the Peak of the 70th Anniversary of Sido Muncul in Jakarta, Thursday, November 11, said that the company will lay the first stone for the project in December.
"God willing, on December 18, the groundbreaking for the physical construction of the Museum and the research center will be realized," said Irwan Hidayat.
Irwan explained that the Jamu Museum that was built was located at Soekarno Hatta Street KM 25 Bergas, Ungaran, Semarang Regency, Central Java.
"In addition to the Herbal Medicine Museum, the location will also be equipped with a laboratory for developing medicinal plants, fruit, a zoo with a collection of rare animals, a children's playground, a place for shopping, and places to eat/drink," said Irwan.
Later, the museum will display information about the history of Sido Muncul, the process of making herbal medicine and its development. While the research center will function to learn various things about medicinal plants and fruit.

"The research begins with the nursery process, because the most important thing is the seeds. Through the research center, Sido Muncul also opens a collaboration space with various universities in Indonesia that will conduct research," explained Irwan.
In the research center, Sido Muncul will collaborate with all universities in Indonesia. The reason, said Irwan, his party saw a lot of great students, but studying at a campus that lacks facilities.
"With the realization of the construction of the Sido Muncul Jamu Museum, in the future it is hoped that it can become one of the new tourist destinations in Central Java," concluded Irwan.
