JAKARTA - It has been raining in Jakarta and its surroundings since this afternoon until tonight. Based on the temporary recording of the DKI Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) at 18.00 WIB, the flood hit 6 RT.
"According to current inundation information, there are 6 RTs out of 30,470 RTs in DKI Jakarta," said Head of the DKI BPBD Data and Information Center M. Insaf in his statement, Friday, November 12.
Insaf said that the six RTs that were flooded were located in three sub-districts in South Jakarta. In Kalibata Village, flooding occurred in 2 RTs with water levels reaching 40 to 50 centimeters.
"The cause of inundation in Kalibata Village is high rainfall," said Insaf.
The flood also submerged 3 RTs in Bangka Sub-district with water levels of about 1 meter to 1.7 meters and 1 RT in Tegal Parang Village with water levels reaching 40 centimeters.
"The inundation in the Bangka and Tegal Parang sub-districts was caused by the overflow of the Mampang and Krukut rivers," he said.
Currently, the flooding is being handled by the local kelurahan together with PPSU, the BPBD TRC team, the SDA Service, Satpol PP, Tagana, and the Gulkarmat Service.
"The inundation is targeted to subside quickly," he said.
