Going To West Nusa Tenggara, Jokowi Tried Racing And Inaugurated Mandalika Circuit Today

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo flew to the Province of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) for a working visit today, Friday, November 12.

Jokowi and his entourage took off from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base on the Presidential Aircraft Indonesia-1 at around 06.30 WIB.

Arriving in NTB, Jokowi will go directly to the Mandalika Circuit Pit Building, Mandalika Special Economic Zone (KEK).

Initially, Jokowi visited the control room of the Mandalika Circuit and listened to the explanation of the circuit panel.

Then, Jokowi will try out the Mandalika Circuit directly by riding his personal racing motorbike, followed by the inauguration of the Mandalika Circuit and the BIL-Mandalika Bypass Road.

Furthermore, in the afternoon, Jokowi will take part in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Virtual Summit from Novotel Lombok Resort and Villa. Jokowi is scheduled to spend the night in Lombok and continue his work agenda tomorrow.

During this working visit, Jokowi was accompanied by Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Minister of Trade Muhammad Lutfi, Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir, and Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM Bahlil Lahadalia, and Presidential Special Staff Angkie Yudistia.
