1,120 Cluster Patients With Secapa AD Test Negative For COVID-19
JAKARTA - There are 27 less positive patients with COVID-19 in the Armed Forces Officer Candidate School (Secapa) cluster in Bandung, West Java. They were declared cured or negative after conducting further tests.
Head of the Indonesian Army Information Service (Kadispenad), Brigadier General TNI Nefra Firdaus, said this addition, the number of patients recovered was 1,120 patients.
"PCR laboratory results from the patient's follow-up swab at Secapa AD from Friday, July 31 to this morning, Tuesday, August 4, there were 27 more patients who tested negative," Nefra said in a written statement reported by Antara, Jakarta, Tuesday, August 4.
According to him, there were 118 patients who were still confirmed positive from this cluster or 14.4 percent. Where previously positive patients from Secapa AD were 1,308 patients.
"From a total of 1,308 positive patients with Covid-19 in Secapa AD, 1,120 people have decreased or 85.6 percent. The rest are still undergoing independent isolation, only 118 people or 14.4 percent are still positive," he said.
He continued, TNI soldiers who donated blood for the benefit of plasma convalesence therapy at the Gatot Soebroto Central Army Hospital (RSPAD), Jakarta had been completed. The volunteers consisted of 32 officers who graduated from Secapa AD.
"The second wave of blood plasma donors today will be carried out free examination of infectious diseases and a sufficient number of antibody titers," he said.
