Vice President Invites People To Rise From The COVID-19 Pandemic
JAKARTA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin invites the public to have the courage to rise from the difficult times due to the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, like the heroes of the past who were not afraid to go to war.
"Heroes are not afraid to go to war, risk their souls and bodies to bequeath a country that is free, rich, prosperous, and peaceful to future generations," said Ma'ruf Amin on his official social media account, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, November 10.
The Vice President's message is still related to Heroes' Day which is commemorated at the same time as the recovery period after the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia.
"Let's instill that attitude in all of us to rise from the difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic," he said.

Earlier, this morning, Vice President Ma'ruf and President Joko Widodo attended the Hero's Day Ceremony and visited the graves of heroes at the Kalibata Heroes Cemetery (TMP).
After the ceremony, the Vice President accompanied the President in conferring the title of National Hero and giving Honorary Service Stars to a number of figures at the State Palace, Jakarta.
"Based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 109/TK/TH 2021 On October 25, 2021, there are four figures who received the title of National Hero," said the Vice President.
The four figures are Kunciotutu from Central Sulawesi, Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris from East Kalimantan, Haji Usmar Ismail from DKI Jakarta, and Raden Aria Wangsakara from Banten.
"In addition, based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 110/TK/TH 2021 on October 25, 2021, the Government has awarded the Service Star Honorary Award for 300 health workers who died in handling COVID-19," said the Vice President.
