COVID-19 Update As Of November 10: 480 New Cases, 9.537 Active Cases

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 299.600 specimens were examined today. As a result, there were 280 new positive cases of COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 4.249.323 people and 9.537 active cases," said Ministry of Health data, Wednesday, November 10.

Today's recovered cases increased by 531 cases, bringing the total to 4.096.194 recovered people. Then, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 14 people and a total of 143.592 people.

The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 95 cases and a total of 862.465 cases. Followed by West Java which has 77 new cases with a total of 706.691 cases. East Java has 65 new cases and a total of 398.772 cases. Then, DI Yogyakarta has 59 new cases and a total of 156.225 cases.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to East Java with an additional 76 recovered cases. Followed by Central Java with an additional 73 recovered cases, DKI Jakarta with an additional 59 recovered cases, and West Java with an additional 50 recovered cases.

There are five provinces that reported no new cases today, namely Bengkulu, Southeast Sulawesi, Gorontalo, West Sulawesi and Maluku. In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 49.117.017.

"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 0.35 percent," he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases was recorded at 7.082 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

Furthermore, currently, there are 127.335.266 people who have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 80.954.139 of the second dose of vaccination. Then, the third dose of vaccination was 1.173.296. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208.265.720 people.
