Vanessa Angel's Driver Tubagus Joddy Named A Suspect In A Fatal Accident

SURABAYA - The Jombang Police have handed over an Investigation Commencement Order (SPDP) to the Jombang District Attorney's Office.

In the SPDP, Vanessa Angel's driver, Muhammad Joddy Pramas Setya, became a suspect in the case of a fatal accident on the Jombang Toll Road KM 672+300.

"Today we received SPDP number 837 from the police, and there is one suspect named Joddy," said Jombang's Chief Prosecutor, Imran, confirmed on Wednesday, November 10.

In the SPDP, said Imran, there was only one suspect, namely Muhammad Joddy. He is the driver of the car that Vanessa Angel and her family were traveling in.

"There is already a suspect, in the name of Tubagus Muhammad Joddy. Only one person," he said.

In this case, Tubagus Joddy is suspected of violating Article 310 of Law No. 22 of 2009 concerning road traffic and transportation. However, he has not been able to conclude the cause of the accident, whether it was intentional or negligence. For that, they will still study the case file first.

"(The case) of the traffic law, article 310 paragraph 2 and paragraph 4, for the time being, yes," he said.

After receiving the SPDP, his party is now waiting for the case file to be studied further in accordance with its authority. Imran has also appointed three prosecutors, one of whom is the Head of General Crimes Achmad Jaya.

"Furthermore, after the SPDP, it means that we are waiting for the file, the case file for us to study according to our authority. We will immediately appoint the prosecutor. I will appoint three people.

It is known that artist Vanessa Angel and her husband, Febri Andriansyah alias Bibi, died in a single accident on the Jombang Toll Road KM 672+300 entering Pucangsimo Village, Bandar Kedungmulyo District, Thursday, November 4, 2021.

The Pajero car with license plate number B 1264 BJU she was traveling in hit the concrete barrier of the toll road on the left. The driver, Tubagus Muhammad Joddy Pramas Setya (24) and his son GL (1.7), and household assistant Siska Lorensa (21) were injured and survived.
