Make Indonesia Badminton Festival An Event To Rise From Bad Results, Praveen/Melati: We Don't Want To Give Up
JAKARTA - Praveen Jordan/Melati Daeva Oktavianti are determined to come back from bad results and give the best performance when they go down on the Indonesian badminton agenda. This is related to their poor appearance when appearing on a European tour.
The mixed doubles pair did not perform optimally when they went down on the three European tour agendas. In the Denmark Open 2021, French Open 2021, and finally the Hylo Open 2021, Praveen/Melati were unable to win a single title, even though they are ranked fifth in the world.
The only title that Praveen/Melati secured was runner-up at the Hylo Open 2021. The position was obtained after they bowed to Thailand's representatives, Dechapol Puavaranukroh/Sapsiree Taerattanachai in the final.
Although not reaping good results, Praveen/Melati is trying to move on from the European agenda. They then determined to make amends when it went down the agenda in Indonesia.
"After Germany, we certainly don't want to give up. We will try even harder to face the tournament in Bali (Indonesia) later", said Praveen Jordan in a written statement received by VOI.
Regarding the less than optimal performance at the Hylo Open 2021, Praveen apparently also realized that. He said, in fact, they could have won if they didn't waste the opportunity in the first game.

"Yes dear, because there is actually a chance to win in the first game", he continued.
After appearing in three European tournaments, Praveen/Melati was immediately rushed to appear in a series of tournament agendas held in Indonesia. Titled Indonesia Badminton Festival 2021, there will be three tournaments to be held.
The three tournaments are Indonesia Masters 2021, Indonesia Open 2021, and BWF World Tour Finals 2021. The tournaments, which are all held in Bali, will start from November 16 to December 5.
