Rain With Winds, Two Big Trees In East Jakarta Otista Collapsed Hit Pedestrian Bridge And Vehicles
JAKARTA - Heavy rain with strong winds that hit the East Jakarta area caused two large trees to fall on Jalan Otista Raya, Bidara Cina, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta. The collapse of the tree is thought to be due to erosion.
The fallen tree trunk fell on the pedestrian bridge (JPO) of the Otista Youth Center and several public street lighting poles.
The village head of Bidara Cina, Yudhie, said that the two trees fell at around 09.15 a.m.

"Public Facilities and Infrastructure Handling Officers (PPSU) were deployed to assist in the evacuation of fallen trees," he said, Tuesday, November 9.
The two fallen trees were in front of the BRI Inspection Office in Jakarta. However, the fallen branch led to PT Essence Indonesia. The tree also hit the vehicle and it was crushed.
