Doctor Reisa Broto Asmoro Reminds The Importance Of Implementing New Habits Of Adapting To Work In The Office

JAKARTA - Government Spokesperson for COVID-19, Dr. Reisa Broto Asmoro, reminded the importance of implementing new habit adaptations for both workers and building managers when office activities are fully re-opened.

"Several offices have started to open 100 percent. So we have to adapt to new habits when the office is active again," said the Ministry of Health talk titled "Stay Alert When COVID-19 Swept Down" which was monitored in Jakarta, reported by Antara, Monday, November 8th.

Reisa explained that there are nine requirements for adapting new habits that must be done to carry out work activities in the office. The first, starting from self-health assessments for employees to make sure they are healthy when they go to the office.

"If we have the slightest symptoms, we must anticipate not forcing ourselves to go out. Remember there is COVID-19 that is asymptomatic, it can infect other people, so it's best not to leave the house if there are symptoms," she said.

Other conditions, of course, must implement strict health protocols, such as wearing masks for everyone in public spaces and maintaining physical distance.

In addition, office building managers also arrange employee workspaces so that they can maintain physical distance from each other. In addition, the office building manager also regulates the movement of employees so that there are no crowds, especially in spaces where there are shared dining activities such as canteens.

Employees who work in the office are also required to bring their own personal tools such as eating and drinking utensils, prayer equipment, and spare masks.

Every room in the office, continued Reisa, must also have good ventilation so that air circulation in the room can be maintained properly.

Office building managers are required to disinfect every object that is used publicly. Disinfection is also carried out regularly and routinely.

Furthermore, it is also ensured that every employee knows the latest developments on COVID-19 in Indonesia from trusted official sources.

Reisa said every employee who works in the office must have been vaccinated. Therefore, every employee who enters an office building must use the Peduli Lindungi application for tracking purposes.
