Retweet Of Pornographic Content, Twitter Account Of Banyumas Police Traffic Unit Hacked, Police: We'll Arrest The Perpetrators Soon
JAKARTA - Head of Central Java Police Headquarters, Grand Commissioner Pol M Iqbal Alqudusy said that the party was still chasing the hackers on the Twitter account of the Banyumas Police Traffic Unit since it was hacked on Sunday, November 7th. Iqbal said, since the Banyumas Police Traffic Unit account was hacked, there was pornographic content.
"Posting negative content on the Twitter account of the Banyumas Police Traffic Unit is known to have been uploaded on April 6, 2021," Pol Grand Commissioner M Iqbal Alqudusy said, through a statement received by VOI, Monday, November 8 morning.
According to Iqbal, the findings contained retweets of pornographic posts. Then the action taken is to take a screenshot of the display screen for investigation purposes.
"Furthermore, deleting the negative content. Changing the twitter account password for the Banyumas Police Traffic Unit to prevent irresponsible postings from happening again," explained Grand Commissioner Iqbal.

Iqbal said the Banyumas Police Traffic Unit's Twitter search results had not been used for a long time. The last official post on the account was used on October 27, 2020.
"It is suspected that there has been hacking on the Twitter account of the Banyumas Police Traffic Unit on April 6, 2021," he said.
The police are currently investigating further regarding the indecent post. His party has coordinated with the Banyumas Police Crime Investigation Unit (Satreskim) for investigations.
"Currently, we are coordinating with the Satreskrim of the Banyumas Police for further investigation. I am sure it will be revealed in the near future," he said.
