Kupang Regent Wants Village Head To Use Village Funds According To The Rules
KUPANG - Kupang Regent Korinus Masneno reminded village heads (Kades) in the area to use village funds according to the rules so that they have benefits for improving community welfare.
"The development center is currently focused on villages, so village heads must be able to mobilize the community to build villages by utilizing village funds properly so that people's lives will improve," he said when opening a coordination meeting of village heads and sub-district heads in Kupang Regency, Province of East Nusa Tenggara, Antara, Thursday, November 4.
He also said it was related to the accountability report (LPJ) for the use of village funds. Apparently, there are villages that have not made a record of the responsibility for the use of funds in 2020.
"Therefore, I ask the Regional Inspectorate to approach and confirm that the budget disbursement can be approved. There must be cooperation between the BPD and the village government to unite in developing the village," he said.
Regent Korinus Masneno accompanied by Deputy Regent Jerry Manafe emphasized that the community should be grateful because the government's attention to village development is quite large through the allocation of large Village Funds.
Korinus Masneno encourages sub-district heads to help facilitate, provide direction, enforce rules and control various development activities in villages so that the development process is in accordance with the program set by the village government.
He also reminded that the village head election which is currently taking place in the area should be carried out successfully.
"If there are problems related to the election of the village head, a good solution must be found so that the election of the village head is carried out safely and successfully," he said.
