Jakarta PPKM Level 1, Anies: Not Apart From Our Colossal Work
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan is grateful that Jakarta was able to implement PPKM Level 1. He said the easing of restrictions on community activities was due to the joint work of the DKI Provincial Government and the community.
"We should be grateful for this. This cannot be separated from our colossal work together. In particular, I appreciate the tracer and vaccination team in DKI who continue to work hard to ensure that the pandemic remains under control in Jakarta so that it can reach level 1. " said Anies in his statement, quoted on Thursday, November 4.
Even though the COVID-19 condition in the capital city is improving, Anies reminded his citizens to remain vigilant and not slack in implementing health protocols.
“At level 1, many public spaces can be accessed again, but don't let your guard down, don't ignore it. Keep up the process and stay healthy. All must remain vigilant, until conditions are declared safe. We pray that this epidemic will end soon," he said.
The implementation of PPKM Level 1 was ratified through Governor's Decree Number 1312 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of COVID-19 Level 1 Community Activity Restrictions, which is valid for 14 (fourteen) days, starting from November 2, 2021 to November 15, 2021.
This gubernatorial decree is in accordance with the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 57 of 2021 which sets the PPKM assessment level for each region.
In the current implementation of PPKM Level 1, there are a number of easing activities. These include non-essential work office (WFO) capacity which is allowed up to 75 percent.
Then, the essential sector office capacity in the finance department is allowed to WFO up to 100 percent, administrative services 70 percent, capital markets and IT 100 percent, hospitality 100 percent staff.
In addition, the capacity of shops, malls and shopping centers is allowed for 100 visitors with operating hours until 22.00 WIB.
The capacity of restaurants, food stalls, and cafes has been relaxed to 75 percent with operating hours until 22.00 WIB. Then, there is no longer a time limit for visitors to eat.
Everyone who carries out activities in each sector or place must have been vaccinated against COVID-19 at least the first dose. This rule is excluded for residents who are still within a grace period of 3 months after being confirmed COVID-19, residents who are contraindicated for COVID-19 vaccination, and children aged less than 12 years.
For people who have been vaccinated, they can attach proof of their status as being vaccinated on the Jakarta Kini (JAKI) application, a vaccination certificate contained in the PeduliLindung application, and/or proof of vaccination issued by an authorized institution.
